Dear People of God:

For ages the people of God waited for the coming of the Messiah.  And now that he has come and we have tasted the goodness of the kingdom of God we cannot but long for the completion of what was inaugurated by his first coming.

Christmas introduced us to Jesus and he increases our longing for the fullness of God. We cannot be satisfied with only the victory of the Cross and the Resurrection. These victories of Jesus are a foretaste of what to expect in his Second Coming.

This is the prophecy of Isaiah 9:7 "Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this."  The zeal of the Lord becomes our zeal.

May your preparations for this Christmas create a passion and a zeal to see the Prince of Peace fill the whole earth!

Your servant,

Dear People of God:

Celebration and worship are essential elements of festivals. Our God is the God of abundance and in him we can enjoy all his goodness. Praise the Lord! "Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever" (Psalm 106:1)!

God's goodness is the core of his character and every experience of God is rooted in his graciousness. The Creation, the Cross, the Resurrection and the Second Coming all are initiatives of his goodness. Each event is a promise and guarantee that goodness alone will triumph.

He came not just to save us. He came to invite us into an abundant life of love.  God has no limit to how much he has loved us and will love us. His unwavering love draws us deeper and deeper into himself.  Every experience of God's love changes us.  We begin to reflect more of him and learn that love and loyalty go hand in hand. Enjoy your family and friends and practice His kind of love.

May steadfast love and goodness increase!
May the Spirit pour love into every relationship!
May God be evident in all your celebration & abundance!

Happy Thanksgiving!
